Paranormal Activity is a must-see

Paramount Pictures’ Paranormal Activity situates what is perceived to be a real-life young couple who appear to live in a typical home. The movie claims to be based on a true story, though how much of it is actually ‘real’ is unclear.
The film begins with Micah Sloat setting up to shoot film in the home. The house seems quite typical, until we find out why the film is being cast. Micah’s girlfriend, Katie Featherston, seriously believes she has a demonic presence watching over her. Sloat, while skeptical, begins to believe in the presence as soon as he gets some evidence on record.
The movie, while definitely creepy, is a very compelling—and entertaining—film, and I definitely think it’s worth your while to check out... if you think you can handle it. And whomever you see it with, I suggest you make a truce beforehand not to startle one another during it, because the suspense compounded with a startle will leave anyone prone to jump right out of their seat.
